The Duomo is much more ornate and beautiful on the outside than the inside, and by design. But the stark contrast between the exterior and interior is part of what makes it so beautiful. The guide didn't have any kind of tour identification sign like a sign held up or a Tshirt with the brand etc. It was very tricky to keep her in sight in anextremely crowded environment. The guide was friendly and Jovial and we appreciated her positive attitude. However the explanation of many things seemed more learned by heart and less out of knowledge and passion for art. I had trouble understanding what the significance of many of the pieces.…”
