Unfortunately we didn’t book this tour in time to get to climb the dome of the Duomo, but as a consolation, we were able to climb the bell tower. This is a steep climb that is worth every step. You get to see all of Florence from an amazing vantage point and you get to see the dome from an incredible vantage point, especially if it is a clear day. I highly recommend this tour. It definitely helps to have the Vox system so that you can hear the guide very clearly in your ear, even if you’re not standing…”
