“We had a informative and entertaining tour of Florence by our guide Julia today. The Medici family legacy is complex, but she made it understandable as well as fascinating. She also explained the subtleties of the local florentine cuisine. Highly recommended.”

“I don’t remember our chefs name but she was fabulous. We started at the Centrale Market and did a truffle, balsamic and olive oil tasting and it was wonderful. After the market we walked to the cooking school which was about a 10-15 min walk. The school is lovely and our group was 4 of us so it was a more intimate cooking experience. We made 4 courses and everything was so simple to make and turned out delicious. My favorite course was the chicken, it was exceptional. My Mom and I enjoyed this class so much and would do it again.”

““Tour” started over an hour late. The guide chatted with us for a few minutes before walking up the dome, we walked up the stairs and handed back our headsets at the top. The end. Two hour tour was just walking up the steps. Wouldn’t waste money again on this so called tour. Sure, you can call it 2 hours when you make us wait over an hour past the meetup time to even start. What a waste. Just buy walk up tickets yourself and save money.”

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 hour immersion in Florentine fashion as we strolled around with Ivan, hearing fascinating stories and history about the key players from Ferragamo and Fendi to Gucci and Pucci. The Palazzo Gucci was great but better still was Ivan’s incredible knowledge on all things fashion, luxury ans local lore. I loved this tour as did my 14 year old daughter who proclaimed it a highlight of the trip. Thank you so much. Ivan - you’re a brilliant storyteller.”
