“This was such an amazing experience!! I am a solo traveler but met an amazing group of people doing the same horseback riding experience! Daniel (our tour guide) was so funny and informative, and he even offered to take really nice pictures for us. The lunch at the winery was fantastic, and there was loads of food (soup, cheeses, meats, bread, pasta, dessert) plus four wines to taste. Incredible price for the experience considering it includes the horseback riding, lunch, San Gimignano tour, wines (with refills included ;)), and round trip transportation! The horses are so nice, you absolutely don’t need any experience to have a great time. The views…”

“Good communication with Simona especially as there were concerns about weather and possibly moving date back. Weather was great, pick up at agreed time and driven to equestrian centre. Lovely staff, beautiful and well behaved horses for a magical trek through countryside and crossing streams. Thank you so much to our great riding guide. Short drive to historic winery with gorgeous 360• views of fields and trees. Our guide here was so knowledgeable yet friendly and explained the processes to us as we toured the cellars containing bottles and barrels. Then the tastings accompanied by cheeses and meats…. A really enjoyable experience with thanks to our great guide (whose name…”

“I had the most amazing experience horseback riding from pickup to drop off. Francesco our driver was absolutely amazing and presented us with so much helpful and useful information about Florence and the Tuscany region. He also allowed us to stop for pictures on our way to horseback riding! Once arriving to the farm, we explored and got to see all the animals. It was such a great experience. For horseback riding our tour guide was David and he was also really great! He had great conversation and also allowed us to stop for pictures and even took pictures of us to share! It was my first time riding and…”

Half-day horseback riding near Montieri from Prategiano Stables. Small group, helmet included, big Tuscan views. English guide option.

“We booked here because the description advertised it as a ride for experienced riders, with the possibility trotting and cantering - which didn’t happen (notwithstanding a lot of pleading)! so it was 2 hours of beautiful scenery but at slow walk which allowed the torturous, bitey insects to nibble at us the whole way. This was not the guide’s fault but the usual, inconsiderate, non-riders who tell porkies about their riding abilities (non-existent in this case) and ruin it for everyone else. So not a bad review for the stables but measures should be taken to prevent this from happening. On the plus side the horses are beautifully looked after…”

“Karla was a fantastic guide, she was super friendly and chatty - we thoroughly enjoyed our ride with her, she’s great. We rode Fiera and Valorosso, both great horses, forward going and obviously well cared for. The ride we went on (full day ride) was very rocky and consisted of lots of going up and down hills. We did get the opportunity to have multiple canters which was really enjoyable. Our only negative would be we stopped for our lunch picnic for an hour and a half/two hours which did drag and felt excessive - but understand this is more for the horses benefit than ours so not necessarily a…”

The wonderful Simone picked us up from town we rendezvoused with the awesome Marco who drove us to the picturesque farm where we met Luca our guide. He led us on an hour-long ride where we saw things that had previously only been in our minds. As if this wasn't enough they then took us to the most wonderful restaurant with amazing views, after all this, they returned us back to town. This is a must-do experience with wonderful people, food, and views that will knock your socks off.”
